This card was created using the Close to My Heart Artfully Sent Cricut art cartridge and the Cricut Craft Room. I used the Scene card and pocket card page 26 (hand book). Happy Birthday Wishes Scene card page 29 (hand book). Sentiment CTMH stamp Artiste collection. In the Cricut Craft Room for the inside of the card I used the hide contour feature taking out the Happy Birthday Wishes and the cut line for the pocket card then I added the frog cut. I cut the frog out using green glitter paper. I repeated the frog cut using pink glitter paper to cut the crown. The crown cuts first so I stopped the Cricut cut after the crown had cut. For the castle I hide the contours to cut out a solid mat. The castle was cut twice using silver and pink glitter paper. After assembling the castle I used pop dots to adhere the castle on the card. </div>

Place in Time Calendar Photo Book </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I created this album using the paper collection Place in Time from Graphic 45 12 x 12 &; 8 x 8 paper packs, 6 brown paper bags, black 12 x 12 card, chipboard to cover the book, paper doilies, Kaisercraft crochet doilies (front cover) lace border punch, lace with ribbon, black lace, Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations die (clock), Tim Holtz Distress ink black soot by Ranger,Tim Holtz Idea-ology Faucet knob, embossing powder clear, flowers and leaves, black pearl flourish, chipboard elements from the collection, metal book corners painted with Patina paints and adhesives Scotch quick dry and Wondertape. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Each of the six pocket has a double sided photo mat insert for the month of January, March, May, July, September and November. For the months of February, April, June, August, October and December I made a double sided tag for each. To make the pocket for these tags I used Tim Holtz Alterations On the Edge die Brackets and Sizzix Card Edges 2 die. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Because I live in Australia our seasons, celebrations etc fall at different times of the year. So with that in mind you will notice some of the month themes from the collection appear in different months in this album. For example in this album I used July's paper for November and January's papers for June.</div>

To create this album I used Fairy Belle by Prima. In each of the small pockets there is a photo mat, a large tag, 2 small envelopes with a tag in each. In the larger pocket there is a photo mat.To create the tags and the photo frames I used the Slice Elite by Making Memories. I used the 'Salutations' design card to create the tags for the small envelopes I used the 'Grandma's Attic' design card to make the photo frames. For the large tag I used the 'Basic Elements' design card. I used a Sizzix original die 'Library Card Pocket' for the small envelopes. To embellish the album I used lace ribbon, flowers, chipboard pieces, lace rub-ons, bakers twine, lace border punch and a Kaisercraft stamp set Miss Match-Bingo Cards. <br />

The butterfly was adhered to the card with pop dots.I cut out three of the flowers from the sheet of paper from the Painted Petals Stack and adhered those also to the card base using pop dots. These flowers are the small flower to the right, the large purple flower to the left and the purple flower above the butterfly. For the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment 'May your day be special' This stamp is from Stamp-It self cling rubber stamps. To stamp the sentiment I used Stampin up Vintage Violet.</div>Upstairs in the Scrap Roomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01356157055231750369noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385037419539682973.post-73538785381920255222012-04-14T12:25:00.009+10:002012-04-14T13:13:37.170+10:00Rough Ashlars<div align="left"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitOSUYv1NEuvuXgVUIzlzrOhzkDahNIR3g4FGCX7D0bhsGr7wMg2lp5oBowEA3qPIoiXBmuBpbgNBnSPseb_5-nckDja5H67XAD1C5KFMuQtmLm1ecaDtgu2A_6frnBWj_dEQ2p4Ka1iEk/s1600/IMG_3002.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5731078926004660914" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitOSUYv1NEuvuXgVUIzlzrOhzkDahNIR3g4FGCX7D0bhsGr7wMg2lp5oBowEA3qPIoiXBmuBpbgNBnSPseb_5-nckDja5H67XAD1C5KFMuQtmLm1ecaDtgu2A_6frnBWj_dEQ2p4Ka1iEk/s320/IMG_3002.JPG" /></a></div><br /><div align="center">In loving memory</div><br /><div align="center">Robert William Banks</div><br /><div align="center">7th January 1926 - 3rd January 2012</div><br /><div align="center"></div><br /><div align="left">To create this scrapbook layout I used 'Times & Seasons' paper pack from Echo Park. The tag was adhered to the pizza box with pop dots for dimension. </div></div>Upstairs in the Scrap Roomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01356157055231750369noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385037419539682973.post-68926600226658223282012-02-26T16:34:00.009+10:002012-02-26T17:39:51.158+10:00Welcome card (Baby Girl)<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIySXeSkxB8eI6WzTxvbsVSfPluX-uXCL8N2AsEzr850iP9Ii_cAFlIUg9n3Imo00xfYdao74refW2Ub0mnYxzvnSaISrW0N1LaETpNxCVmr1ySk4O6soCJWOmYk_gI7OcO2ak447x1B4W/s1600/IMG_0545.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5713331288393039586" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIySXeSkxB8eI6WzTxvbsVSfPluX-uXCL8N2AsEzr850iP9Ii_cAFlIUg9n3Imo00xfYdao74refW2Ub0mnYxzvnSaISrW0N1LaETpNxCVmr1ySk4O6soCJWOmYk_gI7OcO2ak447x1B4W/s320/IMG_0545.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimARJcifHbfLMFeBTJv9vR3fkp-57On6EOIFNbIjK4ZqqAPF_s1kXh9Ptw-sw2wwzFH6I38qDfXbHWwd9RCMsAtUITbS2ZSC6FhVbSAqK3Bs8HWsjLC3-vqb6-7ZClfH1sigznlE1Uz0jd/s1600/IMG_0543.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5713331283967057298" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimARJcifHbfLMFeBTJv9vR3fkp-57On6EOIFNbIjK4ZqqAPF_s1kXh9Ptw-sw2wwzFH6I38qDfXbHWwd9RCMsAtUITbS2ZSC6FhVbSAqK3Bs8HWsjLC3-vqb6-7ZClfH1sigznlE1Uz0jd/s320/IMG_0543.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIb7eA2sZ3oSiE5raQ2G-bTdSU72LOix3CUzRxE1Gs-pVZVYopIJx7_qgICH9FencHv5RO8crUzLyX0vf_4wlEVpHBDXDiAnMdW4SinHM25Fcq24TpYimcQpNvjQC1yc2HXxAH-Q_LiZ81/s1600/IMG_0542.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5713331277652160978" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIb7eA2sZ3oSiE5raQ2G-bTdSU72LOix3CUzRxE1Gs-pVZVYopIJx7_qgICH9FencHv5RO8crUzLyX0vf_4wlEVpHBDXDiAnMdW4SinHM25Fcq24TpYimcQpNvjQC1yc2HXxAH-Q_LiZ81/s320/IMG_0542.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjksdWiEAAnTXZeDXtsBh6HdABTIAS-Pu4wDjS4IEW0US3BCLZSIeKilarbBILJuZL4g9r-pOozub1XC9NU3I_S8gKzsV1RK3XN0IhImkNVqCo7Q6tafav1sQPs6sLBerxPCvRDi4F2j0pP/s1600/IMG_0540.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5713331265954347458" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjksdWiEAAnTXZeDXtsBh6HdABTIAS-Pu4wDjS4IEW0US3BCLZSIeKilarbBILJuZL4g9r-pOozub1XC9NU3I_S8gKzsV1RK3XN0IhImkNVqCo7Q6tafav1sQPs6sLBerxPCvRDi4F2j0pP/s320/IMG_0540.JPG" /></a> Cricut Imagine Hey Diddle Diddle</div><br /><div align="left">This easel card measures 5.5 x 5.5. To make the base cut a piece of card stock 5.5 x 11. Score the card at 5.5 and 8 3/8. Cut another square 5.5 x 5.5 for the front of the card. The image for the front of the card is on page 25 of the Hey Diddle Diddle handbook. This was printed and cut @ 5. I printed the image combined twice and then cut the layers. I embossed the fence using an embossing folder by Craft concepts Woodgrain. I printed the fence twice. I cut the post off one of the images so I could emboss them the opposite way from the railings and to also raise them by using pop dots. One of the full images I cut the grass section off then ran that through an embossing folder by Cuttlebug 'Caramelo'. I inked the embossing folder using Vera Color ink 34 Orchard and 134 Petal Pink. I used the deboss side of the folder. I coloured the centre of the flowers using a pink gel pen. I applied Glossy accents to each flower to add dimension. I used glitter from Pink Paislee to embellish the cloud, the body and wool layers of the lamb. I also used Glossy accents on the lambs face. To make the Welcome sign I used the layer feature on page 13 of the handbook and used colours from the color palette. The word Welcome was cut from the image on page 27 of the handbook. The word welcome was adhered using pop dots onto the flag. The left side of the flag was adhered flat onto the fence post and I used pop dots on the right side to adhere it to the card. I tied the bow using a bow maker by docrafts. The bow was adhered to the fence using high tack tape. For the inside of the card I cut a piece of card 2.5 x 5 1/4. The words Little One was cut from the layer image on page 27 in the handbook. The base that the words are adhered to I used the icons available on the cartridge and selected the light pink from the color palette. This was cut @ 2.3 and I trimmed the top and bottom for a better fit. I used pop dots to adhere this assembled piece onto the pink card. I adhered the pink card to the inside base of the card using foam tape. To finish of the card I joined two white flowers together with a pink split pin and then used a pop dot to adhere it on the card. </div></div></div>Upstairs in the Scrap Roomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01356157055231750369noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385037419539682973.post-71374269459875521012012-02-26T15:57:00.008+10:002012-02-26T16:33:24.520+10:00<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdLQGvTa2r_9lYqJdzhQ4Ti2p7JgNAcLwP3KkbfkPI9ceXvpihXUCQ9HVDCY3-infGynZcPlbW4l95PqlQdBsPzOrAKxwm-xm7F71kXd6nJCgoGUS1IysPMzs-J40xS1qmJ_6W0ltZold3/s1600/IMG_0553.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5713327369213254514" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdLQGvTa2r_9lYqJdzhQ4Ti2p7JgNAcLwP3KkbfkPI9ceXvpihXUCQ9HVDCY3-infGynZcPlbW4l95PqlQdBsPzOrAKxwm-xm7F71kXd6nJCgoGUS1IysPMzs-J40xS1qmJ_6W0ltZold3/s320/IMG_0553.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPUepOTgV7_2R-YZirYTXgd2sApWlkSMrs3THBOn584ayRdSWfVfBe4IgxwBbyxNeICdO_mXw5St35sodu5jgMbORs5H_ClZfSU9BvGh1Y2BL5_xbQI9CbZnSYPUvDLdTMEiIZb7izf2fC/s1600/IMG_0558.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5713321086200676898" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPUepOTgV7_2R-YZirYTXgd2sApWlkSMrs3THBOn584ayRdSWfVfBe4IgxwBbyxNeICdO_mXw5St35sodu5jgMbORs5H_ClZfSU9BvGh1Y2BL5_xbQI9CbZnSYPUvDLdTMEiIZb7izf2fC/s320/IMG_0558.JPG" /></a> Cricut Imagine Greeting Cards Inside & Out</div><br /><div align="center">Cricut Art Philosophy </div><br /><div align="center">Sizzix Hero Arts Stamp & die-cut Framelits</div><br /><div align="left">To make this tag I used Memento Rich Cocoa ink to stamp the sentiment Friend and the flower. I just folded lime green card stock in half for the base of the card. I adhered a strip of brown card onto the base of the card. From the paper stack from My Mind's Eye 'Where The Heat Is' I cut a strip of the patterned paper with the houses and adhered that piece onto the brown card. I used the Cricut Expression 2 to cut out the pieces to create the little girl pushing the stroller. The number 3 was cut from the Mickey font cartridge. The Happy Birthday is a stamp. To make this element I just cut a strip of brown card for the base. Stamped the sentiment Happy Birthday onto a light brown card then cut that into a strip a little smaller than the brown card. Adhered the light brown and the base card together. To finish off the element I cut out the three little hearts from the same sheet of paper and adhered them on. </div></div>Upstairs in the Scrap Roomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01356157055231750369noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385037419539682973.post-42979058953787918372012-02-04T11:53:00.009+10:002012-02-04T12:38:35.657+10:00More photos - Junk Journal<div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMaOhu9y_M7O-EfQHJTilTL50LcNB_dy5RFMdm4529iI421xntOgeANaEw4vNACTlM4bLwDD4nUzkzoRSaOPb8nXZIbm878d23Rr7FfsEMcz_d9kCAPD7Rn4IbpMNtBrVRhNV-ykesu428/s1600/IMG_0270.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; The cartridges used Vintage Papers, Country Carnival (Imagine) and Plantin Schoolbook (envelopes) Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection stamps - Good Thoughts, Nature's Discovery and Floral Tattoo. Stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa. Edges inked with Vera Color Umber 55. The lace trim on the front of the journal a designer trim by websterspages. For the letters E R Y and the word Christmas I selected the green pattern (page 11). I offset these when I adhered them to give the title a shadow effect.</div><br /><div align="left">The presents are from the Cricut Imagine Snow Angel cartridge. The prints are on page 17 of the handbook. I used the layer feature for all the cuts. These were printed and cut @ 3.5, 2 @ 3, 2.5 and 2 @ 2. The rectangle present was cut at 4.5. The rectangle present in the sleigh was printed and cut @ 2.5. To create the large rectangle box/present I used the pattern on page 43 (Snow Angel). I printed this at a larger size then trimmed it to measure 3 X 3 1/2 inches. To embellish the present I used different sized blue & pink buttons and white string. All the round presents are adhered with pop dots.</div><br /><div align="left">The journal tag was printed and cut using the top note shape available on the Cricut Imagine. I used Memento Rich Cocoa to stamp the image. After I had assembled the base cutouts and had adhered the stamped sentiment I cut out a piece of Bazzill card rounded the corners and adhered this behind inside the card to give a finished look. The swirl is from page 58 in the handbook. These were cut also as a mirror image. I cut each swirl out four times and adhered them together to give a faux chipboard effect. The pattern paper for the swirl from Vintage Timeless. The small flowers are punched out using a Stampin Up punch Three for you. For the centre of these flowers I used Kaisercraft Droplets. For the roses I used the cutout on page 68 of the Arts Philosophy handbook. I cut the large flower @ 2.5 and the smaller flowers @ 2. For the centre of the roses I used liquid pearl as a fill and when that dried I placed a pink pearl on top of each flower. To create the leaves I used the cutout on page 28 of the handbook. I used Plantin Schoolbook to create the number 70.<br />I created the flower using the cut on page 14 of the Flower Shoppe handbook Heart 2. I cut two flowers @ 2 inches two flowers @ 1.5 inches and two flowers @ 1 inch. I used the floral print for the 2 inch and 1 1/2 inch flowers. For the inch flower I used the pink from the Lori's Garden colour palette. I curled each petal using my fingers. I glued each flower layer together and for the centre of the flower I used a pearl. Before adhering the flower onto the card I looped three pieces of sheer ribbon and attached these onto the card using glue dots. I adhered the flower using pop dots. The Happy Birthday element is from Lori's Garden and was printed and cut @ 1.5 inches. I adhered this element to the card using pop dots. To finish off the front of the card I adhered a bow onto the frame and put 3 pearls onto the border element. Inside of the card I adhered a 4 3/4 inch square pink card and glued a butterfly that was printed and cut @ 1 inch. This butterfly is on page 12 of the Lori's Garden handbook. <em></em></div></div>Upstairs in the Scrap Roomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01356157055231750369noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385037419539682973.post-51644371097898955052011-09-04T12:46:00.006+10:002011-09-04T13:50:47.713+10:00<div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8KS3KgF680g4CfUrCPcSB8G55ISSG0VWOHlaxxyDvMN9bo_HGHTtauyu6nHHl4oF6IqQZ8CwWWakkDsBNbThxExvD3wcEZV3_h7hvuTpUpuI1CQwFZ-fBqfQSQvhXvrVTzj8zGynO966N/s1600/IMG_8851.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5648331715946055426" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8KS3KgF680g4CfUrCPcSB8G55ISSG0VWOHlaxxyDvMN9bo_HGHTtauyu6nHHl4oF6IqQZ8CwWWakkDsBNbThxExvD3wcEZV3_h7hvuTpUpuI1CQwFZ-fBqfQSQvhXvrVTzj8zGynO966N/s320/IMG_8851.JPG" /></a>Country Carnival </div>

I've edged the BasicGrey paper with Martha Stewart Punch around the page Wild flowers punch. The title Gallery was printed and cut @ 2 using the Country Carnival Imagine cartridge and the title Walk was printed and cut @ 1.5. The mushrooms are from Lori's Garden. I've altered the patterns on the mushrooms in the Cricut Craft Room. To keep to the colour theme I've used patterns from the Country Carnival cartridge. I printed and cut the mushrooms @ 2. For the tulips I used the Cricut Imagine with the cartridges Walk in my Garden and Country Carnival. I also selected the patterns from the Country Carnival cartridge for the colour of the tulips. They were also cut @ 2. For the stems I used the colour palette and the pattern on page 58 of the handbook. The duck is on page 87 Animal Kingdom cartridge. Once again I used the colour palette and the patterns from the Country Carnival cartridge. The duck was also cut @ 2.

<br />Cricut projects Flower Shoppe</div>
<br />
<br /><div align="left">To start this project I painted the box using KAISERcolour Mud Puddle. I painted the inside and the outside of the box. For the outside of the box I printed a full sheet of the pattern on page 37 of the handbook. From this I cut two pieces approx 2 3/4 inch wide. I matched up the pattern for the join at the front of the box. To adhere all the paper to the box I used Helmar Professional Acid Free Glue. For the top of the lid, the base, and the inside of the box I used the circle from the Cricut Imagine shapes. For the top of the lid I used the pattern on page 38 of the handbook (Lori's Garden) For the inside of the lid I used the pattern on page 40 and for the base of the box I used the pattern on page 36. For the inside base of the box I cut a circle from a full sheet I had printed for the rim of the lid. To make the flowers for the lid I used the Flower Shoppe cartridge on the Cricut Expression. I had a piece of card that I had previously printed using Lori's Garden with the pattern from page 43 in the handbook. All the card I used to make the flowers was from the stash. All the cuts for the flowers were inked before they were assembled. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tea Dye. I placed a pearl in the centre of each flower and put Kindy Glitz Crystalina on top of the flowers. The flowers have been adhered to the lid at different heights using pop dots. To make the embellishment "Life's Little Treasures" I used Adobe Photoshop to create this using my computer. This embellishment measures 2 1/2 x 2. In each corner I added a small brown split pin. To add dimension I coated this with RoyalCoat Dimensional Magic. This was adhered to the box using pop dots. The butterfly's were printed and cut @ 1. using the layers Page 12 in the handbook. They have also been inked with the tea dye distress ink. To create the lace feature for the top of the box I used 2 1/2 wide lace and folded it until I got the desired look I wanted. I used a needle and thread to secure the folds and sew the button on. This was adhered to the lid with Pritt Gel. I adhered the small pink button on top of the larger button using a glue dot. Other items I used- measuring tap ribbon and 3 buttons. </div></div></div>

<br /><div align="left">Card- Hero Hues (Hero Arts) A2 Folded Cards- Latte (outside) white (inside). To the card I adhered brown card leaving a small border of the Latte colour. Using the Imagine I printed and cut the pattern on page 41 of the handbook using the 5:7 rectangle @ 4. I trimmed the length then adhered this to the brown card leaving a small border. For the embellishments I printed and cut the Icons on page 31 of the Imagine More handbook. I printed and cut the Attention Icon @ 3 twice. One for the outside of the card and one for the inside. Take Note was printed and cut @ 3. This was adhered flat onto the card. From the Birthday Bash cartridge I printed the phrase on page 40 of the handbook It's your Day @ 2.3 using the same pattern from the Imagine More cartridge that I used for the base of the card. For the Happy Birthday I used Print Shop 22 the font is "Scroll" @ 28pt. I inked around the edges using Versa Color 55 Umber. I adhered this onto a piece of the brown card. To adhere the Attention icon and the Happy Birthday to the front of the card I used pop dots. For the inside of the card I used the same base as for the front. I adhered the Attention icon flat to the inside. The speech bubble which is on page 33 of the Imagine More handbook was printed and cut @ 2.8 and adhered flat. I used the speech bubble to write a special birthday message. </div></div>

<br /><div align="left">For the base of this card I used a pink card (105 x 150mm) from the Paper Xtra Card Kit. Using the Cricut Imagine I selected the 5x7 rectangle. The pattern for the base layer is on page 40 of the handbook. I printed this @ 5 and trimmed it to fit the card. This was adhered flat to the card base. For the scallop rectangle I selected the pattern on page 41 of the handbook. This was printed and cut @ 3.5. This was adhered flat on the pattern layer. I used the layered image on page 9 of the handbook these layers were printed and cut @ 3. The first two pieces were adhered together and then adhered flat onto the scallop rectangle. The happy bird-day and the bird were adhered onto the card using pop dots. I used white flowers. The larger flower was coloured with a Copic marker Baby Blue B21 using the air brush. I used a baby blue split pin to hold the flowers together. The flowers were adhered flat onto the card.To finish off the card I adhered a scallop rectangle and a bird inside. It was printed and cut using the same sizes as for the front of the card.

Glued these together and adhered the phrase to the inside of the card.</div></div>Upstairs in the Scrap Roomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01356157055231750369noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385037419539682973.post-61934064390407578982011-07-24T17:25:00.009+10:002011-07-24T18:19:52.820+10:00Look what my sister made for me<span style="color:#000099;"></span><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFCF3cKSyY_nk5Klgr0gEYaN3ttHmZAqL0iz2nwDea-hZRdg7J1HOnP_a8SLURI9G91rMZr7MpCgF62JNZngk4fERH_4mq4aMecl2iPB3orWMHlvdFBbKpyURmcz-OjRyFHuLes9ZUohva/s1600/IMG_8652.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632819910776059138" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFCF3cKSyY_nk5Klgr0gEYaN3ttHmZAqL0iz2nwDea-hZRdg7J1HOnP_a8SLURI9G91rMZr7MpCgF62JNZngk4fERH_4mq4aMecl2iPB3orWMHlvdFBbKpyURmcz-OjRyFHuLes9ZUohva/s320/IMG_8652.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzRxqXuSOFn55NsN_9xcQPtDdo4Z1lHmi7xsaYzP0SO9Sl9qDULbWE4CHdoK0uiZc9nO2Bkakc9MdChe5boXb-k51yEw0CB5r7QHHFCERz8edBLwygGEsKCThwgqjAMaI0rSlOgShpJ27Q/s1600/IMG_8665.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632819906166826498" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzRxqXuSOFn55NsN_9xcQPtDdo4Z1lHmi7xsaYzP0SO9Sl9qDULbWE4CHdoK0uiZc9nO2Bkakc9MdChe5boXb-k51yEw0CB5r7QHHFCERz8edBLwygGEsKCThwgqjAMaI0rSlOgShpJ27Q/s320/IMG_8665.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh94XEYyHxRnaA2Q4q9lKuF6v9IwzGZ8K1G-pTTczO4KO9ck-yxGsj59MP7_TW6PJruMYCMaFd3mtO7M9_8ff_6EBlVTZsuBxBmHwYYSere825xMDRgJCGmfQ_08VWAWQ3xCtDxsha8ClR5/s1600/IMG_8662.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632819904218874898" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh94XEYyHxRnaA2Q4q9lKuF6v9IwzGZ8K1G-pTTczO4KO9ck-yxGsj59MP7_TW6PJruMYCMaFd3mtO7M9_8ff_6EBlVTZsuBxBmHwYYSere825xMDRgJCGmfQ_08VWAWQ3xCtDxsha8ClR5/s320/IMG_8662.JPG" /></a>Cricut Elegant Edges</div><br /><div align="center"></div><br /><div align="left">To create this she used white card to cut the frame from the Elegant Edges cartridge. This frame cut can be found on page 29 in the handbook. She used the Design Studio to size the frame so the inside of the frame measured 4x6. The frame was painted and sea sponged with KaiserColour paint Marine Blue, Coastal Blue and Turquoise and sprinkled with Fairy Dust. The frame was mounted onto a shadow cut. Between the frame and the shadow under the branch cutout green card was adhered. Glossy Photo paper 4x6 was used as the base for the design. The flower are Stampin Up Scribble This stamp set. They were stamped using Memento Black ink. VersaColor Lilac 35, Green 21 and Sky Blue 38 was used to colour the stamped image. Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tea Dye was used to ink/sponge around the edges. Kindy Glitz Crystalina was used on the flowers. The birdcage, bird & droplets are Embellishment Stickers. The flowers are Kaisercraft and the flower jewels are Kaisercraft Rhinestones.<br />A special Thank You to my sister for thinking of me and making me this beautiful gift.
