Base card Bazzill white card. From the Christmas Wish cartridge I printed 2 12 x 12 sheets the pattern is on page 8 of the handbook. To make the mats for the photo's I printed 1 sheet of the green pattern on page 11. This was cut to make 2 mats 6 1/4 x 4 1/4, 2 mats 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 and 1 mat 4 1/4 x 3 1/4. The glitter card at the base of the pages was cut freehand.
The title Merry Christmas is from the Cricut lite Jolly Holidays cartridge and the title was printed and cut @ 2.5 three times. I selected the blue pattern on page 3 (Christmas Wish) for the base of the title. From the color palette I selected the darker pink. For the letters E R Y and the word Christmas I selected the green pattern (page 11). I offset these when I adhered them to give the title a shadow effect.
The presents are from the Cricut Imagine Snow Angel cartridge. The prints are on page 17 of the handbook. I used the layer feature for all the cuts. These were printed and cut @ 3.5, 2 @ 3, 2.5 and 2 @ 2. The rectangle present was cut at 4.5. The rectangle present in the sleigh was printed and cut @ 2.5. To create the large rectangle box/present I used the pattern on page 43 (Snow Angel). I printed this at a larger size then trimmed it to measure 3 X 3 1/2 inches. To embellish the present I used different sized blue & pink buttons and white string. All the round presents are adhered with pop dots.
The journal tag was printed and cut using the top note shape available on the Cricut Imagine. The base for the tag was printed and cut @ 3.5 the pattern is on page 8 (Christmas Wish). The insert was printed and cut @ 3.3 the pattern is on page 6 (Christmas Wish).
The sleigh is from Snow Angel page 15 in the handbook. This was printed and cut @ 4.5 using the layer feature. I adhered the sides and the bottom of the top layer using pop dots as this leaves an opening to slip the presents into the sleigh.
The tree was printed and cut @ 8 using the layer feature the pattern is on page 23 (Snow Angel handbook). For the pot for the tree I cut 2 using the layer feature and the pattern is on page 22 of the booklet. For the base pattern on page 39 (Snow Angel) printed and cut @ 10.5. The top pattern layer for the pot was cut @ 8.
Please note: For all the layered images I changed the colour for the border by going into settings and changing to Custom in the Border Preferences. Then clicking on Define color I used RGB codes R 255 G 206 B 250. Then I clicked apply. This put a soft pink around the images.
Did you see the 3D Christmas Trees in the first photo? I created these using the basic shapes available in the Cricut Craftroom and the Cricut Imagine. After I printed and cut the trees I folded them in half and adhered 4 different patterned trees together. I punched a hole in the top to thread the raffia to hang the tree. I also tied raffia to create a star.
Beautiful layouts! I love these cartridges.
