Cricut Imagine JT-Elegant Edges-Printing 101
Scrapbook layout titled Hello Cocky

Base layer full sheet printed pattern page 39 of the JT handbook. Using the Elegant Edges cartridge I selected the Book feature cut on page 25 (handbook) and selected the pattern on page 36 JT handbook. This was printed and cut @ 10. I also printed and cut this shape @ 10.2 to create a mat using dark blue from the color palette. The photo mats were printed and cut @ 4.2 using the same color. The photos are 4 x 4 inches. I used Creative Memories Custom Cutting System to cut the oval shape from the photo and to make the narrow oval frame. The scallop border page 30 JT handbook was printed and cut @ 1.5 x 2 using the pattern on page 38 JT (handbook). These scallops were cut to fit the length of the page. I printed and cut the 1.2 rectangle @ 3. using the pattern on page 34. I cut two strips approx 1/2 inch. The length was cut to fit the page. Using Printing 101 the title was printed and cut @ .7 for the word Hello. The word Cocky & shadow was printed and cut @ 1. I used the pattern on page 36 JT handbook for the title. The flourish page 12 JT handbook I used the layer feature. The pattern was changed on the last layer. I selected the same pattern I used for the scallop. The flourish was printed and cut as a combined image @ 1.8 twice. The wings were printed and cut @ 2.5 page 6 JT handbook. For this cut I used the original colors and the combined pattern. I used a scallop punch but I used the imagine to create the circles. The pattern on the larger circle is the same as the base layer. To create the wording on the small circle I used the Adobe Photoshop and the Text Warp feature. I inked around the edges of all the cuts with VeraColor 68 Atlantic. Just as a note of interest I photographed this cockatoo during a weekend stay at the beautiful Bungunyah Manor @ Mt Tamborine.

Birthday Card

To create this card I used the Sizzix eclips & the Sizzix Cards & Envelope, Easter and Dress Ups cartridges. The card base I used First Edition Paper Animal antics 12 x 12 paper pad. I used the card page 76 (handbook) Cards & Envelope cartridge US square 4.75" x 4.75". I cut another square @ 4.75 x 4.75 cut this on the diagonal and adhered this to a strip of red card then adhered to the base of the card. Using the Sizzix eclips Dress Ups cartridge I cut the Fireman @ 3.75. This cut can be found on page 33 in the handbook. The cut for the number 2 on the fireman's helmet is from the Girl Outfits: Hockey Girl page 74 handbook Pieces feature. I stamped the face using a Sizzix Dress Up faces stamp and Memento Rich Cocoa. I adhered the fireman to the card using pop dots. I used the Sizzix eclips Easter cartridge to create the scallop. This cut can be found on page 19 in the handbook. The scallop was cut @ 2. I used Adobe Photoshop to create the Happy Birthday sentiment. This was printed on my printer and then cut out using scissors. I distressed the edges and inked around the edge with VersaColor 55 Umber. For the star in the centre of this embellishment I used a small Carl craft star punch. The Happy Birthday sentiment was adhered flat onto the scallop cut out. I used pop dots to adhere the scallop onto the card. The envelope cut can be found on page 80 Sizzix Cards and Envelope handbook. US square 10.75 edit height Assembled Size 5" x 5".

First Project using the stamp I made with the Teresa Collins Stampmaker.

To make this card I used the following items

Craft Concepts embossing folder-Budding vine

Sizzix eclips & the Sizzix eclips Cards & Envelope cartridge

Cricut Imagine & Cricut Calligraphy Collection cartridge

Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels twelve cut & emboss

Copic markers & Copic airbrush

Perfect Pearls-101

Stickles-Icicle

Core'dinations (Whitewash) Color Core Card stock

Bazzill card

String small white beads & flower lace

Using the Sizzix eclips I cut the card base page 76 (handbook) @ 4.75 x 4.75 using Bazzill card. From the Core'dinations card I cut a square using the same measurement to layer ontop of the base card. The embossed square measures 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. The square with the beads attached measures 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. This square was adhered to the card using pop dots. The beads were adhered to the card using Pritt Gel glue. The stamped image was cut out and embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities label twelve. This was adhered flat to a square 3 x 3 inches of the Core'dinations (whitewash) card. I used a Creative memories corner punch to give each corner a decorative edge and used Perfect Pearls 101 in each of the corners. This square was adhered to the 3 1/2 inch square with the bead using pop dots. The flower lace was adhered to the card using the Pritt glue. The flourish was printed and cut @ .8 on the Cricut Imagine RGB code 239 239 239 (Bazzill Diamond) three times then glued together for a faux chipboard effect. The flourish was coated using stickles Icicle. To finish off the card I cut five threads of the beads 2 longer, 2 short equal lengths and one short length and glued them to look like a bow then adhered the flower on top using the Pritt glue. The flower was handmade using an eight petal flower cut out.

Teresa Collins Stampmaker

This is my very first stamp I've made using the stampmaker. The image I've used is a dingbat-Laurie's Country by House of Lime and is available as a free download for personal use from http://www.dafont.com/. You will find this image in Dingbats-Kids. To create the image size I wanted I used Adobe Photoshop. I used a mat 2 x 2 inches. File-New-Blank File-Width 2 inches Height 2 inches. Using the Text I placed the image onto the virtual mat @ 150pt. Then I clicked onto Filter-Sketch and selected stamp. Here adjust the Light/Dark balance if needed. Once this was done I saved the image as a jpg file in my Pictures file onto my computer.

I followed the instructions that came with the stampmaker computer programme and printed out a negative print using the HP Deskjet 1000. For this printer select Preferences-Paper Quality-Speciality Paper-Advanced-Resolution-plain mode-Black and white automatic. Megan from http://www.aboverubiesstudio.com/ put a video on You Tube and that is where I got the settings from for this printer. Once the negative was printed I followed the instructions and made this stamp.

I used Copic markers to colour the image. For the dress I used RV 21 Light Pink & RV 06 Cerise, for the wings B 00 Frost Blue & B 02 Robin's Egg Blue. Skin tone I used E 02 Fruit Pink, E 01 Pink Flamingo & E 000 Pale Fruit Pink. I shaded around the stamp with C 0 Cool Gray. I used a mask over the image and airbrushed Y 21 Buttercup Yellow.

Blossom Cricut Imagine
Elegant Edges
Heritage
Card Base- White Bazzill card 10 x 5 inches
Scored @ 5 inches and folded.

I printed and cut the pattern from page 6 Blossom (handbook) @ 4.8 x 3. One for the front of the card and another for the inside (right). For the inside (left) pattern I used the flip horizontal feature before printing for a mirror image effect. The pink daisy scallop border on the centre front of the card I used Bazzill pink card and the punch I used is from Fiskars. To create the Cameo embellishment I used the color palette from the Blossom Imagine cartridge. To create the base I printed and cut the Shadow feature page 65 Elegant Edges (handbook) @ 3.2. I also printed and cut the Oblong feature @ 3.2 using the pattern on page 8 (handbook). These two cutouts were adhered together flat. The cameo page 65 Heritage (handbook) was printed and cut @ 2.5. These two cutouts were also adhered together flat. I used pop dots to adhere the cameo onto the scallop base. I edged the frame of the cameo with Stickles Icicle and for the silhouette I coated it with Dimensional Magic. The complete cameo embellishment was adhered to the card with pop dots. The bow was tied to the strip of ribbon along the scallop border. To hold the tails of the bow in place I used Pritt Gel glue. To finish off the card I stamped Happy Birthday (Crafty Bitz) using Memento Rich Cocoa. For the inside of the card I created a journal block using the shadow and oblong feature from page 65 Elegant Edges (handbook). Shadow was printed and cut @ 3.3 the pink scallop was printed and cut @ 3.2. I used Color Box Creamy brown to edge the pattern card and the scallop cuts.
